If you guessed Flip Pallot - Your
RIGHT!
Flip says, " I am clearly the "Studley"
dude in the center poling with an old vaulting
pole. That's my old Hewes skiff, "Very Last
Flat", with the inline, six cyl Merc. 150 HP
outboard that we used to run on them. Notice the
kill gaff and the cobia gaff on the port-side
gunnel.
The push pole holders are the ones that
Tony Heeb and I used to manufacture.
On the left, Ted Williams....On the
right, Bill Hegle, Director of the Met Tourney.
Notice the total absence of towers on the
skiff...How could we have caught anything
without them?
I'm thinking of taking them off my
skiff now!"
You could have met him in person at EXPO 2011
in Orlando
