Distance Casting with FFF Master Certified Casting Instructor Eric Cook,

This workshop will cover tips and techniques for adding distance to your cast. The secrets are in the details and there will be things you never thought of that will change the way you get distance from now on. And these details will enable you to reach the fish that were once out of your range with not only increased distance but with increased control and accuracy as well. The ability to double-haul is recommended for this seminar. 5 wt. and above rod with WF lines recommended (no shooting heads).

10:00 AM Teach Yourself to Double Haul with FFF Master Instructor Mack Martin. Learning to double haul can dramatically improve efficiency, reduce effort and improve control. This class is for intermediate casters able to cast good loops who are looking to take a significant step forward in their casting. Bring medium to fast action, 6wt or larger rods. Maximum number of participants is 12.

Beat the Wind and Add Distance to Your Cast with FFF Master Instructor Ed Chamberlain and FFF Certified Instructor Roger Maler. This workshop for, intermediate and advanced casters, will focus on casting techniques to deal with wind from all four quadrants plus provide tips to help casters acheive greater distance.  Bring your own equipment.

1:00 PM Sunshine State Casing Club 8wt Combination Accuracy and Distance Event.
Open to all.  Members of the club will host a friendly competition for casters in a combined accuracy and distance event using club-supplied 8wt lines.  Bring your favorite rod. Prizes in several categories.
